Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, He is also the
Savior of all those that have been born again. Jesus gave His life; a ransom for all that would
receive Him as their Lord because He is love. He is not willing that any be lost but that
all will come to repentance. Jesus didn’t
come as a man just to shed His blood for the righteous, but for the unrighteous
also. Jesus was the God man, fully human
and fully God. Because of His love, He
laid down His life for the lost voluntarily, no one took His life, He willingly
shed His blood knowing that no other sacrifice would be good enough to purify
sin. Jesus’ blood totally cleanses believer’s
sins and breaks its hold on their lives and their sins are remembered no more. That is how the Lord demonstrated His unconditional
love for us, praise His name.
The Lord spoke of this to Israel, because of their religious
pretense and their sinful ways, in Isaiah 1:18 which says, “‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ says the Lord, ‘Though your
sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like
crimson, they shall be as wool.’”
It also says this in Psalms 103:1-14, David’s Psalm:
“Bless the Lord, O my
soul;
And all that is within
me, bless His holy name!
Bless the Lord, O my
soul,
And forget not all His
benefits:
Who forgives all your
iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life
from destruction,
Who crowns you with
lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your
mouth with good things,
So that your youth is
renewed like the eagle’s.
The Lord executes
righteousness
And justice for all
who are oppressed.
He made known His ways
to Moses,
His acts to the
children of Israel.
The Lord is merciful
and gracious,
Slow to anger, and
abounding in mercy.
He will not always
strive with us,
Nor will He keep His
anger forever.
He has not dealt with
us according to our sins,
Nor punished us
according to our iniquities.
For as the heavens are
high above the earth,
So great is His mercy
toward those who fear Him;
As far as the east is
from the west,
So far has He removed
our transgressions from us.
As a father pities his
children,
So the Lord pities
those who fear Him.
For He knows our
frame;
He remembers that we
are dust.”
This Psalm is a universal call to praise God for personal
blessings, national blessings, His forgiving love and His eternal love. If you are reading this and are seeking real
genuine truth and genuine unconditional love, look no further, it is found in
the Savior Jesus Christ. I challenge you
to read the Word of God starting with the book of John with an open mind, without
any preconceived ideas, letting the Lord speak to your heart through His Word. I believe you will believe that His word is
true before you get to the book of Revelations.
There are many people who say that God doesn’t exist and the
Bible isn’t true, without even reading it. Jesus said this to the Jews that believed on
Him in John 8:31-32, “Then Jesus said to
those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciples
indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.’”
I believe if you do what I said and read the Word, you will
also know the truth and you will be set free. And if Jesus sets you free you will be free
indeed. Something to think about! May the Lord bless you and yours and may you
have a super day!!
