My Prayer List

I have no idea who some of the many people are that read these Tidbits, but if you are a believer would you mention me when you pray?  If you have a prayer request please let me know and I will try to be faithful to pray for you.  Prayer is a privilege and we should look at it that way and be willing to pray for one another.  I am not seeking your silver or gold or anything you possess and you don’t have to minister to me, all I would like from you, is for you to mention my name when you pray.

Here are some of the things you can pray for, for me.  You don’t have to pray all of these requests at one time, but I would appreciate it if you would take at least one or more of these things to the Lord for me, and I thank you in advance.  I have heard it said that, “prayer moves the hand of God” and I need God to move mightily in my life for various reasons.

*To smash the works and the influence of the evil one and to keep   

   me from being deceived in any way

 

            *To keep me from temptation and sin

*I need His sustaining power and grace in my life every day along

   with His peace, love and joy

*I need God’s healing power to flow through me from head to toe

   and also His anointing and the blood of Jesus to cleanse me of all

   sin and iniquity in thought, word or deed

*I need His protection, wisdom and knowledge and understanding

*My desire is to love the things that He loves and to hate the things

   that He hates and to prove it by my actions and not just my words.

*Please pray that I will never gossip or say anything in a negative

   way from this day forward about anyone, even if it is true or I

   perceive it to be the truth or be involved in anyone else’s gossip.

*Pray that I will not become lazy or complacent but that I will be

   diligent, faithful and trustworthy

*That I will not conform to the world but I will daily transform my

   mind so that I will please God and know what His good, just and

   perfect will is for my life

*Pray that I will be hiding His word in my heart that I might not sin

   against Him as the Psalmist wrote

*Pray that if I do sin, He will forgive me and that He will never

   chastise or correct me in His wrath and anger for then I might

   perish, but that He will remember His mercy and grace at the time

   of my correction

*Pray that I would always be a spiritual leader in my home as well as

   a loving husband, dad and granddad to my kids and grandkids

*Pray that I would always be a giver and not just a taker and that I

   would use my time and resources wisely

*Pray that I will never grieve the Holy Spirit or make him sad

*Pray that I will never dwell on the past and its sins that I have

   committed for they are many, but praise be to God, they are

   covered under Jesus’ precious blood to be remembered no more

*That I will love myself and see myself like the Lord sees me and

   forgive myself like the Lord forgave me

*Pray that the fear of God would motivate me and give me such a

   respect for God to the point that I would not dare to transgress

   against Him

*Pray that when I speak the Word of God I would never compromise

   the truth but I will be bold in proclaiming the truth regardless of

   the cost

*Pray that I will never forget who is in control

The Word says this in Psalms 127:1, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.”

When all is said and done every person, city, state or country needs the Lord to survive and I need Him desperately to hear and answer my prayers, and so do you.  Please pray for me.  God bless you and yours and have a special day!!
