Fires of Hell

This is a warning to everyone, including the church.  I have seen what I would call the rapture twice in two separate dreams and I believe I have seen the fires of hell in another dream.  I believe this took place as a warning for not only me but also a warning for the church and everyone that hasn’t received Jesus as their personal Savior.

God’s Word says this in Matthew 7:21-29, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching, for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.”

All the things Jesus spoke about, I believe, are good works.  You can never be saved by them, but read what it says in Ephesians 2:8-10, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

God didn’t save us so that we could just think of ourselves but that we would serve others.  Jesus said He didn’t come to be served but to be the servant of all, I think we should want to do likewise.

To get back to my dreams, I think these dreams took place to get my attention; not to scare me to death but believe me it scared me to see that someone I talked to face to face in a dream disappeared right in front of my eyes, with their clothes and all, and I was still there along with other people.  Then to see what I believe were the fires of Hell, and I was being drawn into it so close that it seemed that it was going to burn my arm, then seeming to get snatched from it, waking up just before I was devoured by it, it got my attention.  I wrote a Tidbit on this a while ago and while I was typing it I felt a peace like the Lord was telling me that He snatched me from that fire a long time ago.

I was shoveling snow yesterday and this thought came to mind; I was looking at this experience as a negative thing but I needed to look at it as a positive thing.  Now I see it differently, in a positive light.  I think it was God’s amazing grace and love to send a warning for all who need to take it seriously; who have either deceived themselves or have been deceived and who think they are born-again but are not, so that they can repent and turn from their wicked ways before it is too late.  Think about it, the Lord could come back any day!!

You can mock and laugh at this message, but think of what this says in Matthew 25:1-13, “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”

Being prepared for the Lord’s return is very important and is an individual decision and responsibility; no one can do it for you.  People may try to help by encouraging you and praying for you, but in the end the responsibility will rest on your shoulders.  My suggestion is not to take this Tidbit lightly, if this warning has convicted you in any way, act on it in whatever way you need to.  If it means forgiving someone I hope you will, or if it means to stop gossiping or complaining or being so negative that you hinder others stop it, or it may be you are compromising with the world, or maybe being to materialistic or greedy or maybe idolatry; whatever it may be repent and ask the Lord to forgive you, then back up your repentance by your actions.

If on examination, you feel that you need to get your life right with the Lord ask the Lord to be your Lord and Savior and to forgive you and fill you with His peace, love and joy and make you a new creation in Him.  Don’t be in a hurry, spend some time in His presence and let Him have His way in your life.  Then start growing in Him, reading, praying, praising and thanking Him for what He has done and what He is going to do in your life, then share it with others.  Something to think about!  May the good Lord bless you and yours and may you have a super day!!
