What Will God Not Do?

Is there anything that God will not do for you if you love Him?

Yes, there are many things He will not do!

* He will never cause you to be tempted or cause you to sin.
* He will never allow you to be forsaken or left alone.
* He will never punish you unjustly.
* He will never lie or deceive you.
* He will never abandon you to the grave.
* He will never take away your free will.
* He will never hold any good thing from you.
* He will never blot your name out of the Lamb’s Book of Life.
* He will never withdraw His Holy Spirit from you.
* He will never let you be snatched out of His hands.
* He will never allow you to be tempted without providing a way of escape
that you may be able to bear it.
* He will never keep you from praying or thanking or worshiping Him.
* He will never keep you from hungering and thirsting for righteousness.
* He will never keep you from seeking His kingdom.
* He will never not forgive you if you repent and confess your sins.
* He will never leave you as orphans.
* He will never stop loving you.

There are probably other things that He won’t do, but they would be only things that would not be good for you.  God will only do the things that will help you and make you a better person in Him.  The Word says this in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
God’s love is beyond our imagination and nothing will be allowed to happen to you without Him allowing it to take place.  Not everything that we experience in life seems good at the time but in the long haul you will understand and become a better person because of it.

Think of Joseph’s life, he endured many things that he didn’t understand but in the end he said to his brothers in Genesis 50:19-20, “But Joseph said to them, ‘Do not be afraid, for am I in God’s place?  As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.’”  Even though God allowed Joseph’s brothers to mistreat him, in the long run all things worked out for his good.  He went through many hard things he didn’t expect but, in the end, because of them His family and many other people were saved from a horrible death of starvation, praise the Lord!

Then there was Job’s story, and others, that turned out for good although when they were going through the things, if they had their own choice, would have picked an easier way, but God knows what is best.  So when it comes to the decision of what God will or won’t allow in our lives, we need to realize that He knows what’s best and let Him have His way and it will work out for our good, praise the Lord!!  If you love the Lord and find yourself in a tough situation remember, this too shall pass, so hang in there and trust the Lord to work it out for your good and maybe the good of others and don’t give up.  God bless you and yours and have a super day!!
