God’s Works

I was listening to a song that Marty Raybon was singing, the name of the song is “I’ve Seen What He Can Do,” and these words are part of this song; “I’ve never seen the face of God, but I’ve seen what He can do,” and it got me thinking so I thought I would do a Tidbit on it today.  We don’t need to see God’s face to see and know what He has done or what He can do.  Many people deny the presence of God and what He has done, to their own peril, because it is plain to see and they will have to stand before the Lord someday and give an account of their actions, with no excuse for their actions and unbelief.

Read what it says in God’s Word in Romans 1:16-25, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.”

No one will ever stand before God with any kind of excuse that they didn’t see His works and know the things that He has done and not know that He created all things because He has made it clear by what has been made!!  You can call it evolution, the big bang theory or chance, but when you stand before the Creator someday, you will wish you called it what it is, God’s creation!! 

Everyone has a conscience and everyone knows what God requires, but many refuse to live up to these things.  We have two choices, either to deny Him or make Him Lord of our lives; I hope you make the right choice.  As long as you are breathing, it is not too late to repent and ask God to forgive you and cleanse you from all sin through the precious blood of His Son, Jesus.  He shed His blood on the cross for your sins and mine and for all who ever lived.  He died and was buried and rose again and now sits at the right hand of the Father, praise His holy name!
