No Excuse

My purpose here is to wake some people up from their slumber.  Many live like there is no God but there is indeed a God and He loves all of us very much.  And even though what I say is very true, some live in complete denial, being deceived by the evil one who blinds the eyes and minds of those that could come out of darkness into God’s marvelous light.

Please read 2 Corinthians 4:1-6, “Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

Let me make this very clear, as Christians we have an enemy and the evil one is not your friend, he is our enemy who has no friends.  God loves us, and He is not willing that any be lost but that all come to repentance.

Please read John 3:16-17, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

There is the proof that God loves all of us, the problem is that many still don’t believe this to be true, but someday everyone will have no doubt that what I am saying is the truth.  God’s word says this will happen someday; that every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father who sent His only begotten Son to be our Savior and our Lord.  All we need to do is acknowledge the fact that we are all sinners and that the Lord is our only hope.  God’s Word says that we have all sinned and fell short of the glory of God.  It also says there is none righteous, no not one.  What each of us needs is true godly sorrow which leads to true repentance unto salvation which needs not to be repented of.  

Read what Paul spoke to the Corinthians about this subject in 2 Corinthians 6:1-3, “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says: ‘In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.’ Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed.”

To the unbeliever, whenever God the Father draws you to Jesus His Son, that is the accepted time.  When you feel a tug or a nudge or however it happens to you, don’t put it off or keep pushing Him away when He comes to you.  When you feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit respond positively with a heart of repentance, which means no games, it is a decision to forsake your sins and turn to the Lord and confess your sins and ask Him to forgive you and to cleanse you of all unrighteousness with His precious blood which was freely shed on the cross for all who would put their trust in Him!!  By the way, if you do respond to the Holy Spirit’s conviction in a positive way this is what will take place among other things.

Please read 2 Corinthians 3:16, “Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.”

Whenever a person is born again the Holy Spirit comes into that person and He is full of light, the blinder is removed, and the person is ready to receive the spiritual things that the Lord wants them to receive.  Then they can start growing in the Lord!!  

But there are very, very dire consequences for those who continue to reject this calling and invitation from the Lord.  All they can look forward to is pain and shame in this life and far worse in the life after death.  When the Lord returns someday, and He will, then the dead will rise first, then those who are still living at the time will meet Him in the air.  Then the judgement and if anyone’s name is not found in the Lamb’s Book of Life then they will be thrown into the Lake of Fire with the beast and the devil and the antichrist and every evil thing, to be tormented forever and ever, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, which is the second death, and there will be no excuse whatsoever at that time!!

Now the choice is up to you.  My prayer is that you will make the right one.  May the good Lord bless you and yours and may you all have a super day!!  And, if you are a believer give the Lord some thanks and praise today and every day for He is truly worthy!!
