Man cannot live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God and the same is true that no man can live a truly fulfilled life without the true God.  In the beginning God created them male and female and He made them in His image and in His likeness.  In every person there is a desire to serve and worship something, which is why there are so many religions in the world.  

People worship all kinds of things and there are over a million false gods that people worship around the world.  But, there is only one true God that loves unconditionally and only One that paid the price for mankind’s salvation.  Every other god you serve, you have to earn your way by doing some kind of work which makes it a struggle to serve and worship any other god but the true God that the Bible speaks of; the One who created the heavens and the earth, the stars and the planets, the sun and the moon and everything else that has been created, and He did it in six literal days and rested on the seventh day from His labor.  Only He makes it possible to please Him through the atonement of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life as the sacrificial Lamb and shed His blood to atone for the sins of mankind because men and women were born with a sin nature and could never be right with God through their own efforts.  God’s Word says that all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God and there is none righteous no not one. Because of this, we were all born separated from God.

Read what it says in Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

This is all by the grace and love and the will of God and not by anything man or woman can do to earn it which is contrary to all the other religions in the world that always have to appease their god’s through their own performance or works.  Our Savior left heaven for a time to redeem all who would put their trust in Him and believe on Him as their Lord and Savior and the invitation is still there to all who will repent and turn from their wicked ways and ask Jesus to be their Lord and Savior and forgive them of their sins, praise the Lord.

Now read what Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

This should happen when you have been saved and covered by the righteousness of Christ which happens when we are born again.  Because of our gratitude for what the Lord has done in our lives, we should want to do good works.  So, if you are in a situation where you think you have to appease the god you serve by all kinds of religious activities, which comes down to works, think about what you have just read and also read John 3:16-17, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” 

God so loved the world includes you and all peoples, regardless of who you are.  Something to think about and I pray that you will do more than just think about it but that you will act on it.  May the good Lord bless you and yours and may you have a super day!!
