I am thinking of a building or a house at this time, but
think about this, either one is only as good as its foundation. If the foundation crumples, the structure that
it is built on will collapse and fall.
Jesus said this in Matthew 12:25-26, “Knowing their thoughts, Yeshua said to them, ‘Every kingdom divided
against itself is destroyed, and every city or house divided against itself
will not stand. If satan drives out satan, he is divided against himself; how
then will his kingdom stand?’”
This is a little different situation, but they both hold
true. Whether you destroy the foundation
or divide the house you are looking for big problems. This is true also in business or in ministry, if
you have people with no vision and are always fighting or quarreling over
issues, how will you accomplish anything? Eventually they will come to nothing.
In 1 Corinthians 14:8 it says this, “For if the trumpet makes an unclear sound, who will prepare himself
for battle?”
Read what it says in Psalms 127:1, “A Song of Ascents. Of Solomon. Unless Adonai builds the house, the
builders labor in vain. Unless Adonai watches over the city, the watchman
stands guard in vain.”
I read in Genesis that God created the heavens and the earth
and all that was in it in six days, then on the seventh day He rested and He
said that it was good.
In John 1:1-5 read this, “In
the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was
with God in the beginning. All things were made through Him, and apart from Him
nothing was made that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was
the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not
overpowered it.”
If this is true, and I believe it is, then how does evolution
fit in the creation story? I heard a
well-known pastor say something like this, that it had to take more than six
days to create the earth and anyone that thought differently was basically stupid,
or something to that effect, and there are many other pastors that teach the
same thing about evolution because of what they hear scientists say. I don’t understand why anyone would put a limit
on God because from what I’ve read, God can do anything. I have heard the stories about the gap theories
and the theories on evolution and about fossils that are supposed to be
millions or billions of years old, but where do we find all these things in the
Word of God?
I listen to Ken Ham and many others talk about creation and they
can explain all these things and not deviate from God’s Word at all, as far as I
can tell. If we do away with Genesis chapters
1 through 11, are we not destroying the foundation of the Word and if the
foundation be destroyed what will the righteous do? I don’t understand why believers bow to
secular views and their way of thinking. Were any of them there to see for themselves that
there was life before God created the world as we know it?
From my understanding there are thousands of Archeological finds
that prove that the Word of God is a book you can trust. And, there are historical documents written by
historians that were around during the time period that Jesus walked the earth,
that verify the Word of God to be factual. From my understanding the things that deal
with evolution came about in the later 1700 and early 1800’s. If God had the Bible written, and He is not a
man that He should lie, then what is written is what He wanted us to know and it
is the truth, so why are we adding to it or taking away from it?
Read what it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in Adonai with all your heart, lean not on your own
understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths
straight.”
I want you to know I didn’t type this to hurt anyone or to
argue with anyone. If you want to get a
much better explanation on this subject, go to Ken Ham’s website, answersingenesis.org and let him explain
his view point on this subject. He and those
that minister with him know far, far more than I do on this subject. If you don’t agree with me give Ken Ham a fair
hearing, you may be pleasantly surprised by what you hear; and let me make this
very clear, Ken Ham does not think this is a salvation issue.
Read what it says in Romans 10:9-13, “For if you confess with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and believe in
your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the
heart it is believed for righteousness, and with the mouth it is confessed for
salvation. For the Scripture says, ‘Whoever trusts in Him will not be put to
shame.’ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is
Lord of all—richly generous to all who call on Him. For ‘Everyone who calls
upon the name of Adonai shall be saved.’”
I have given you something to think about. May the good Lord bless you and yours and may
you have a super day!! And, by the way
if you are a believer, thank and praise the Lord for He is worthy!!
